Job Summary

This position is essential to the coordination and efficient operation of the Anesthesia CRNAs and Physician Group to include gathering requirements for the employment process, creating and maintaining CRNA & MD schedules, verifying payroll hours and information and other key functions. Supports the CRNA Manager and Anesthesia Medical Director with data collection and report summaries.  Manages the workflow to respond to patient complaints received through administration, action line, or Guest Services. Supervises and manages Anesthesia Technicians within the department.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Health-Related or Business-Related field.
Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Years of Experience in an Administrative Support Capacity.
Substitutable Education & Experience: Master's Degree in Health-Related or Business-Related field with 1 Year of of Experience in an Administrative Support Capacity.
Required Certifications/Licensure: None
Required Training: None

Essential Functions

  • anagement of the credentialing process for CRNAs and MDs as well as SC license , DEA etc to ensure that deadlines and target dates are met.  Coordinate with the medical staff office on all related issues.
  • CME administration for the CRNAs and MDs to include accurate records, invoices and adherence to organizational policies.
  • Schedule management for the CRNAs and MDs to include maintenacne of schedules, call schedules and time management.
  • Collaborate with CRNA manager and medical director to manage PI and quality initiatives.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Management of anesthesia supplies and equipment to include backorder management, inventory, and capital planning.
  • Strategic planning with anesthesia management for future growth and needs.
  • Manage and supervise the anesthesia techs to include all human resource functions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
