Job Summary
Safely transports passengers to and from parking lots to various drop-off points on the Lexington Medical Center campus. May be called upon to transport passenger, supplies and/or equipment items via hospital owned vehicles as a part of regular recurring duties or on specific occasions when needs arise.

•Required Certifications/Licensure: Must have and maintain a valid South Carolina driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle record and background screening as outlined in the Vehicle Safety policy (Subject to annual Motor Vehicle Record review and satisfactory results).
•Required Training: Proficient in the use of computer operations associated with review and approval of time, completion of training and other self service employee functions.
Essential Functions
- Safely and efficiently transports passengers to and from assigned parking areas to specific drop-off areas on the Lexington Medical Center campus.
- Follows local and state driving laws and road regulations.
- Keeps the hospital vehicle clean and in safe condition reporting any problems or vehicle performance or maintenance issues immediately.
- May be required to keep a log detailing activities, passenger volume and/or deliveries.
Duties & Responsibilities
- May be assigned the additional task of operating hospital owned vehicles to transport supplies, equipment and/or passengers via electric carts, trucks, vans and other appropriate vehicles.
- Reports any accident or injury immediately. (Vehicle Safety policy)
- Complies with policies and procedures to include but not limited to: Maintaining a positive attendance record by reporting to work on time and as scheduled. Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of personal role in case of disaster, job and fire safety, equipment care and use of Safety Data Sheets.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
